Thomas Simmons

A host during the 90s for Atlanta's Jazz 91.9 and for the last 15+ years a host at an Atlanta community radio station, Thomas Simmons is the ultimate broadcast professional and a jazz historian of the highest order.  The name for his show is a reference to the final resting place for many of our finest musicians, including but not limited to Miles Davis, Jackie McLean, Duke Ellington, and Max Roach.

Thomas Simmons has also been involved in two video productions honoring the memory of those who are today located...at the last stop on the 4 train.  The spirits of these jazz pioneers are very much alive with his weekly shows.

Where Real Music Lives!!

We are a group of DJs/show hosts for whom "music is the message". The core group are former (traditional) jazz hosts at an Atlanta radio station who have decided we want to keep the music alive through Mixcloud. Joining us are experts in blues, blues rock, Americana, old school R&B, funk, soul, and gospel. Bottom line is we all share a common goal to continue to present REAL music to our past, present, and future listeners. Give us a try and tell a friend!
