I have listened to music all of my life starting with Blues that my father listened to. I began collecting Rock ’N Roll and R&B at age fourteen and was introduced to jazz at age fifteen but did not begin collecting it until age Nineteen. In the military, I met guys from all over the country who introduced me to Latin, African, and Caribbean music, all of which piqued my interest and I began to collect all of that. Along the way I picked up Spoken Word, Indian, Reggae, Classical and other genres.

 

Today I have thousands of records, tapes, and CD’s from which to select music for this program and others that I will branch off into later. I LOVE MUSIC.
