A longtime host at a local Atlanta community radio station, I am proud to say that I have been involved in the local jazz community for over 30 years.  I have had the pleasure of personal acquaintance with many of the locally residing classic jazz musicians who have kept the tradition going--Jimmy Heath, Freddy Cole, Gary Motley, and Kathleen Bertrand among many others.

My program always starts with the classic stylings of the greatest living saxophonist ever--Mr. John Coltrane, and goes from there into the worlds of swing, bebop, hard bop, modal, and vocal jazz.  My show will acquaint you not only with the well-known musicians within classic jazz, but will also provide exposure to some of the lesser known but still masterful musicians who have contributed to the American Classical Music that we call jazz.
