Dr. Love (aka Tom Davis)
The program Blues After Dark (formerly known as Blues In The Afternoon) is hosted by Atlanta radio legend Dr. Love. Also known as Tom Davis, he is a radio industry veteran who is familiar with all phases of the radio business--having been an owner and manager of several stations throughout the Southeast and as an air personality on many of those stations.
Blues After Dark features a compelling mix of Blues that's true to its roots, Gospel that is authentic, and Southern Soul that is danceable and "party hearty". Dr. Love's show doesn't just "play the tunes" but provides historical context for the music and how it has evolved in the present day to provide the underpinnings for rock and roll and R&B.
