I grew up in an African American household where music of the culture--including jazz--was the norm.  As a result of meeting former radio host John Berard at a jazz event, I became interested in first co-hosting and ultimately hosting my own jazz show on community radio.

 

With 15 plus years of involvement with the local jazz community as a radio host and as a photographer, I am pleased to be offering a program that covers the wide spectrum of jazz.  My program encompasses both the classic artists and today's best musicians who uphold the tradition of improvised music.
