Black Jack (aka Doug Ketchum)

For nearly 30 years, Black Jack (adopting his air name from a late 1890's outlaw) has been infecting Atlanta Metro and beyond with the Blues Virus at a local community radio station. It was a very proud moment to welcome the Blues Train, along with his sidekick AJ, to the Jazz Forum Plus officially with their April 1st, 2025 program--no foolin'!
The imaginary Blues Train ride with Black Jack as engineer takes you through the many artists who perform blues and blues rock--both historical and present day. The music is hand selected, often thematic, and always an interesting blend designed to make you think with your head as well as with your heart.
